Return and rent bikes at station Ede-Wageningen

From March 23, 2026, you can rent and return a Cykl bicycle at the secure parking facility on the south side of Ede-Wageningen station.
You may only return the bicycles to the secured bike parking. Please say hi to a parking employee; they will grant you access to the facility and can show you your parking spot. This is at the beginning of the 2nd row of racks on the left side of the entrance (next to OV-fiets). You can recognize it by the 'Cykl' marking on the ground. Six racks are reserved here: 3 on the ground and 3 on the rack above.
How to reach the location by bicycle:
The entrance to the secure bicycle parking facility is on the 1st floor. To get there, follow the route shown via Oude Bennekomseweg, turn right towards Zuidplein, and enter the bicycle parking facility on Doctor Hartogsweg.
Please note!
Google Maps will direct you to the bus stop or the stairs. You cannot enter the bicycle parking facility on the ground floor with a bicycle.
How to reach the location by bus/train:
Enter the bicycle parking facility via the entrance on the ground floor, next to the tunnel. Continue to the bicycle rental location on the 1st floor. You will find the Cykl bicycles directly in front of the OV-fietsen.
If you return a bicycle at Ede-Wageningen station, you pay a surcharge of €0.60. If your ride credit is insufficient, you can purchase this surcharge separately at cykl.nl. Unfortunately, the owner of the bicycle parking facility charges us for the parking space; therefore, we are forced to pass on of these costs partially, also if you have a month pass.
Examples
If you take out a bike from Ede-Wageningen station and return it to a destination in Wageningen after 30 minutes the charge is €0.95.
If you take out a bike and return it to Ede-Wageningen station after 30 minutes the charge is €1.55 (0.95 + 0.60).
If you take out a bike and return it to Ede-Wageningen station after 60 minutes the charge is €2.50 (1.90 + 0.60).
If you take out a bike and return it to a destination in Wageningen after 12 hours the charge is €4.15.
If you take out a bike and return it to Ede-Wageningen station after 12 hours the charge is € 4.75 (4.15 + 0.60).
If you take out a bike and return it to Ede-Wageningen station after 24 hours the charge is € 5.35 (4.75 + 0.60).
If you park the bicycle outside the secure parking facility, you risk a fine of 15 euros for the removal of the bicycle by the municipality and 15 euros for the retrieval of the bicycle. So don't do this.
